"Our farm, Buena Vista, in King and Queen County, VA, was started in the late 1700’s. I’m the fifth generation of our family to operate this farm. Our company, R. P. Hart and Son, Inc., is dedicated to producing top quality grains, and grain products. We produce wheat, barley, rye, corn, and soybeans. All of our grain is Non GMO."
"As far as the rye, we’ve grown Abruzzi and Rymin in the past and are open to discussions with distillers on planting other varieties."
"We also raise a few heirloom/landrace varieties of corn, including Bloody Butcher, Buena Vista Yellow, and Buena Vista White.
We sell grain whole, and ground, in 50lb bags, and 1 ton FIBC totes."
